Product Description

Tectyl 506-EH is a reinforced version of a soft wax-based corrosion inhibitor, thinned with solvent and available in a 20-litre container. This specialised formulation is engineered to provide long-lasting protection for vehicles, machines, and components exposed to severe storage and transport conditions, including marine environments and extended outdoor exposure.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of rust, oil, or scale before application. Thanks to its solvent-based formula, Tectyl 506-EH adheres well to prepared surfaces. Optimal substrate temperature: 10–35 °C.

Removal

The protective film can be removed using petroleum-based solvents, a hot alkaline wash, or high-pressure steam cleaning.

Storage

Store the product at 10–35 °C. Gently stir before use. When properly stored in sealed packaging, the product has a minimum shelf life of 3 years.
