Tectyl 511-M is a high-quality, oil-based corrosion inhibitor designed for the internal storage and transport protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metal components. Diluted with solvent and featuring water-displacing properties, this product is supplied in a practical 20-litre container, making it ideal for industrial and logistics applications.

Surface Preparation

Ensure that metal surfaces are clean and free from rust, oil, and scale. Thanks to its water-displacing capability, Tectyl 511-M can also be applied on damp metal. Recommended substrate temperature: 10–35 °C.

Removal

The coating can be removed easily using petroleum-based solvents or crude oil-based cleaning agents.

Storage

Store in a dry place at 10–35 °C. Stir gently before use. Properly stored, the product remains effective for a minimum of 3 years.
