Product Description

Tectyl 506 is a high-performance, wax-based anti-corrosion coating diluted with solvent and designed for a wide range of industrial and transportation protection needs. Supplied in a practical 20-litre container, it forms a durable and flexible barrier against moisture, salt, and UV radiation, ensuring long-term metal preservation even in demanding environments.

Surface Preparation

For optimal performance, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of rust, oil, or mill scale. Recommended substrate temperature: 10–35 °C.

Removal

The Tectyl 506 coating can be removed with petroleum-based solvents, hot alkaline cleaning baths, or by using high-pressure steam.

Storage Instructions

Store the product between 10–35 °C and away from direct sunlight. Mix thoroughly before use. Note that viscosity may slightly change over time during storage. Properly stored, the shelf life is minimum 3 years.
